WHAT WE DO

Center for Transforming Lives builds cycles of financial and emotional well-being, working side-by-side with women and their children to disrupt the cycle of poverty and homelessness. By providing comprehensive housing services, early childhood education, economic mobility, and clinical counseling services, we address their most critical needs and support mothers in creating long-term sustainability for their families.

Each year, we work with hundreds of families on their journey from poverty to prosperity. Our approach is trauma-informed, two-generational and incorporates best practices rooted in national research to ensure families achieve long-term success.

OUR APPROACH

THE EARLY YEARS MATTER MOST

Our early childhood education and intervention programming disrupt the cycle of poverty through academic, social, and emotional learning to prepare little ones for success in kindergarten and beyond.

FROM POVERTY TO PROSPERITY

Our economic mobility services teach, coach and inspire women to increase income, build savings and credit, and reduce debt -- all while building community.

Housing Stability is Family Security

Our housing programs keep families off the streets and in safe, stable homes while mothers work toward a more secure future.

HOW WE DO IT

Center for Transforming Lives two-generation family services disrupt the poverty cycle by supporting the whole family in achieving immediate stability, followed by services that lead to long-term independence.

Critical to this strategy are our Coaches, Case Managers and Family Advocates who address each family’s most immediate needs, such as safety, employment, housing and mental health care, to move them out of crisis and into stability.

The relationship with Center for Transforming Lives team members and clients are consistent throughout their time in our programming, ensuring each family receives the support they need to reach their long-term goals.
