ABOUT THE COALITION FOR HOMELESS CHILDREN
The Coalition for Homeless Children works to change both the system and the narrative about family
homelessness through advocacy, education, research, and community action. By doing so, the Coalition reduces barriers, increases access
to comprehensive services, and improves outcomes for families with children experiencing all types of homelessness.
CTL spearheaded an alliance of 39 agencies throughout Tarrant County to assess and review the conditions for children experiencing homelessness, including those with insecure housing, living
in shelters or motels or experiencing street-based homelessness. The findings and recommendations were published in The Hidden Homeless
Report in 2019 and work continues today in partnership with the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition, faith partners and service providers.
