ABOUT ALICIA SCHOLL
Alicia completed her Bachelor Degree in Social Work from Colorado State University and completed her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in California. Alicia has over 13 years experience working with adults with disabilities to support individuals in becoming independent and develop a support system. Alicia became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as she believes there is power and healing in connection and relationships. Alicia strives to provide a genuine, non-judgmental approach to make clients feel safe and heard. This allows clients to develop trust with another person, which ultimately leads them to grow and to believe and trust in themselves. Specializing in Addiction, Anxiety, ADHD, and recently being trained in EMDR, Alicia employs a collaborative approach to provide individuals the support to process through their trauma. Alicia focuses on teaching clients mindfulness, grounding and other coping skills to regulate emotions and improve relationships with others.
In Alicia’s free time, you will often find her somewhere in nature such as camping, hiking, or kayaking with family and friends or cuddling with her fur babies (including her beagle puppy, Cooper and kitty cats Sven and Kristoff) unwinding from the day.
